Violinist

Violinist Jisun Kang is recognized internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and a gifted teaching artist. She is a founding member of the BeneSori String Quartet where she actively performs in the Tri-state area. She studied at the Seoul National University, Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music with Stephen Clapp, Glenn Dicterow, Lisa Kim, and Yoko Takebe. She has taught in many music festivals such as Narnia Festival in Italy, Pacific Music Institute in Hawaii, and Waterville Valley Music Festival to name a few. Currently, she is on the faculty at Special Music School in NYC, and is also the founder and faculty at 4Strings Music Festival.
